This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the flame sensing electrodes and the ignition electrodes. The ignition electrode is also known as a spark electrode and causes a spark that starts off combustion inside the burner. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for checking the flame in the burner, this is an important safety device designed to stop the fuel if the flame is not lit .
