Product Information: The condensate trap holds the discharge which accumulates in the primary heating/cooling system. This is caused by the alterations in the pressure and temperature within those systems. A discharge pipe connected to the condensate trap then allows any held water passage out of the property. The water contained within the condensate trap can contain mild levels of acid due to carbon dioxide formed from boiler use dissolving in the water. Discharge pipes are very rarely made of anything other than plastic as this water could damage a metal pipe over time.

This part is present in 3 different boilers on our system including the ALPHA CD 13 R, ALPHA CD 18 R and the ALPHA CD 24 R.
