What is a Control Knob?
A control knob is a rotary control used to provide input to a device when grasped by an operator and turned, so that the degree of rotation corresponds to the desired input. A control knob is also known as a tap handle, this is used to control power to appliances and to control the temperature of heating and hot water. Usually on a boiler there is a temperature control knob, and also central heating and domestic hot water control knob. Manufacturers include, Baxi, Ideal, Vailliant, Glowworm and Vokera.
