What are the Controls?
Effective heating controls are a vital part of an efficient boiler system. Fully working controls can minimise energy consumption by ensuring everything is working at the right temperature. Built-in boiler controls will include the main on/off switch which controls whether the boiler is completely off or on stand-by until it needs to provide heat. Temperature controls are used to set how hot you want the water to be heated to, a boiler can have separate controls for heating and for hot water. A boiler will also have either a mechanical timer or a digital timer. The timer controls when the central heating is off or provides heat at times set by the user.
