Product Information: The pilot burner is a naked flame within the unit that is used to ignite the gas that is coming in to the main burner. When the appliance is turned on the gas valve releases gas in to the burner which is then ignited by the pilot flame. The pilot flame works in conjuction with the pcb and the rest of the pilot assembly to ensure that the gas is ignited efficiently and safely.

This part is present in 5 different boilers in the Alpha range including the Alpha 240 P , 240 X , 280 P , 240 ECO , 240 XP .
