This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the flame sensing electrodes and the ignition electrodes. The ignition electrode causes a spark that starts the burner. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for detecting whether there is a flame in the burner, and if it is not working properly stops more fuel from being added .
