ARISTON 571770 TOP CAP MAIN FLOW SWITCH.

This part is located around the flow switch section. The flow switch is used as a safety mechanism that has an inbuilt sensor which sits in the pipework for both the heating and domestic hot water systems. The flow switch is designed to detect movement in the pipework and relays the information to the printed circuit board (PCB) which then allows the ignition sequence to progress. The purpose of the flow switch is to make sure there is enough water in the system and stops the burner from activating if the system is low on water.
