Product Information: The microswitch gives the appliance the ability to perform certain actions dependent on specific criteria. The microswitch in a hydraulic diverter valve, for example, is switched on when a tap that is connected to the system is is switched on. The microswitch then sends a notification message to the electronic control board, letting it know that more hot water is needed and that the procedure for heating water should be activated. There are many types of microswitch dependent on the location and what mechanism they are attached to.
