Product Information: Usually, there are two types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode causes the spark that starts the flame within the burner The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for monitoring whether there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task and if the flame is not detected the boiler knows to re-attempt ignition.

This part is present in 6 different boilers on our system including the HALSTEAD BEST 30 LIGHTWEIGHT C.IRON, HALSTEAD BEST 40 LIGHTWEIGHT C.IRON, HALSTEAD BEST 50 LIGHTWEIGHT C.IRON, HALSTEAD WICKES LIGHTWEIGHT C.IRON 60 and the HALSTEAD WICKES LIGHTWEIGHT C.IRON 40.
