HEATRAE PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE RELIEF VALV 3/4" (LEVER).
The pressure relief valve, sometimes called PRV, relief valve or safety valve, is used to control the pressure in a system. It is set to open if the pressure within the system rises past a certain point to prevent a catastrophic malfunction . Each PRV has a set "bar", once this bar is reached the pressure relief valve opens and the build up of water is discharged which in turn decreases the pressure within the system .
