This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the ignition electrodes and the flame sensing electrodes. The ignition electrode is used to create a spark that starts the flame in the burner. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for ensuring there is a flame in the burner, this is important as if the flame is not burning correctly or not at all then no more fuel will be added .
