Product Information: The condensate trap extracts the discharge which builds up in the primary heating/cooling system. This is caused by the fluctuations in the pressure and temperature within those systems. A discharge pipe connected to the condensate trap then allows any held water passage out of the property. The water inside a condensate trap can be mildy acidic due to carbon dioxide created by the boiler combustion dissolving in the water. That is why discharge pipes are made of plastic and not metal.

This part is present in 4 different boilers in the Ideal range including the Ideal TURBO 45323 , TURBO 2 - 9/ 9 PROPANE , TURBO 2 - 12/ 12 PROPANE , TURBO 2 - 18/ 18 PROPANE .
