This part is found within the automatic air vent section. The Automatic Air Vent is a pressure safety measure used to release unwanted air out of the system. The air vent is automatic by shutting itself off when water is entered into the device. The device works using a small floatation device which is located within the Automatic Air Vent and as water enters, the float will rise with the water and the valve will shut. This will then stay shut until the level of the water subsides making the float drop with it, the vent will then reopen.
