Product Information: Usually, there are two types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode causes the spark that begins combustion. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for checking if there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important safety device that makes sure the boiler isn't still supplying gas without a flame.

This part is present in 31 different boilers in the Ideal range including the Ideal ISTOR HE 260 , ISTOR HE 325 , MEXICO HE 15 , MEXICO HE 18 , MEXICO HE 24 .
