Product Information: This part is located within the condensate trap section. The condensate trap captures the discharge which begins to build in the primary heating/cooling system. This is caused by the alterations in the temperature and pressure within those systems. A discharge pipe linked to the condensate trap then allows any held water passage out of the property. The water inside a condensate trap can be mildy acidic due to carbon dioxide formed by the combustion process dissolving in the water. As this water would damage a metal pipe over time discharge pipes are usually made from plastic.
