The pilot burner works in conjunction with the PCB and pilot assembly to ensure that the gas is ignited safely and efficiently. When the appliance is turned on the gas valve allows the gas into the main burner and the pilot burner, a naked flame inside the appliance is used to ignite the gas which is flowing into the main burner .
