This part is within the thermistor section. The thermistor is a type of resistor which changes the resistance of the circuit if the temperature changes. There are two types of thermistors NTC or PTC, it is important to use the correct thermistor as these are used by the control board to detemine if more heat is required in the system depending on the resistance in the circuit .
