Product Information: The pilot burner is a flame within the unit that is used to begin combustion of the gas that is coming in to the main burner. When the appliance is turned on the gas valve releases gas in to the burner which is then ignited by the pilot flame. The pilot flame operates in tandem with the pcb and the rest of the pilot assembly to ensure that all of the injected gas is ignited efficiently and safely.

This part is present in 6 different boilers in the Potterton range including the Potterton FF 55 , FF 75 , PROFILE 40 NG, PROFILE 50 NG, PROFILE 60 NG.
