Product Information: Usually, there are two types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode makes the spark that starts off combustion within the burner The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for ensuring there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task and if the flame is not detected the boiler knows to re-attempt ignition.

This part is present in 30 different boilers in the Potterton range including the Potterton ULTRA 30 , ULTRA 30 DV , ULTRA 40 , ULTRA 40 DV , ULTRA 50 .
