This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the ignition electrodes and the flame sensing electrodes. The ignition electrode is responsible for causing a spark that begins the combustion process. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for checking the flame in the burner, and if it is not working properly stops more fuel from being added .
