The diverter valve is an instrument that is only found on a combi boiler, which is designed to allow hot water to be guided to the central heating (radiators etc.) or to the hot water system (taps etc.). This is one of the reasons combi boilers are more popular in the market due to the diverter valve allowing hot water to both central heating and taps without a cylinder .
