The diverter valve is an instrument that is only found on a combi boiler, which allows hot water to be sent to the taps in a hot water system or to the radiators in a central heating system. This is the main difference between a combi boiler and a normal boiler due to the fact a cylinder is not required and can still provide water to both the taps and radiators .
