VAILLANT 060051 DE-AERATION VALVE R 1/8.

This part is found within the automatic air vent section. The Automatic Air Vent is a pressure safety measure used to allow unwanted air be released out of the system. The air vent is automatic as it shuts itself off when water comes into the system. The device works using a small float which is found inside the Automatic Air Vent and as water comes through, the float lifts up and shuts off the valve. This will then stay shut until the water level decrease and the float drops with it, the vent will then reopen.
