Product Information: There are two different types of heat exchanger that can be installed, they are the primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger. The primary is present in almost all boilers and it transfers the heat from the burner to the water within the system. The secondary heat exchanger is only required in a combi boiler and allows the heat to be transferred between one closed system and another.

This part is present in 13 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant VCW 240 XT , VCW 280 XT , VCW 242 E , VCW 240 T , COMBIcompact VCW 282 E .
