Product Information: The flow switch acts as a safety device. It is a switch with an in-built sensor that sits in the pipework for both the DHW and CH systems. When the pump is powered up, the flow switches senses this movement and feeds the information back to the electronic control, allowing the ignition sequence to progress. The flow switches purpose is to make sure that the burner cannot switch on if the system is dry or low on water.
This part is present in 4 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant VCW 282 E , VCW 242 E , COMBIcompact VCW 242 E , COMBIcompact VCW 240 T .
