Product Information: A thermocouple is a part that is made of two different metals that produce a small electrical charge when heated on one side. This small charge activates an electromagnet which opens a valve and allows the water or gas to flow through.

This part is present in 3 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant VCW 221 T , VC 221 T , COMBIcompact VCW 240 T .
