Product Information: The microswitch gives the appliance the ability to perform specific actions dependent on certain stimuli. The microswitch in a hydraulic diverter valve, for example, is activated when a tap that is connected to the system is is turned on. The microswitch then sends a communication to the printed circuit board, letting it know that more hot water is needed and that the procedure for heating water should be activated. There are many different models of microswitch dependent on the location and what mechanism they are attached to.

This part is present in 10 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant ECOmax 622 , ECOmax 824 , ECOmax 828 , aquaPLUS (2002-2005) , ECOmax 618 .
